I love the Dolce Vita boots, really comfortable and I love the style of it and the heel just what I was looking for, I get compliments day.

Of course, my hesitance was the width of the boot shaft–like most people I believe–especially being I have little to no calf muscle. However, after reading some of the reviews, I figured I’d take the chance since it’s such an adorable boot in such a perfect color. I was not disappointed. Although it’s not a snug fit, the boot still looks slender enough and doesn’t feel like it will fall or slouch. I’ve actually worn them almost every day for the past two weeks, with skinny jeans, with a knee length dress and even under a long skirt. Not only are they comfortable, they are the ideal heel height and they can be worn casual as well as dressed up. I may be fooling myself but I feel like they might even make me look a little taller. (I’m about 5′4 and 128 lbs.) I’ve never written a review for anything perhaps because I’ve never felt this confident and pleased with my purchase. And I continue to get compliments wherever I go. Money well spent.

Beautifl fashion staple. I have very nice shapely legs and these boots actually fit. I am very pleased and am going to order my third pair. They are a little big on the ankles but for the great price I can deal with it

I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS BOOT. Comfortable, beautiful, great fit, amazing color. I disagree with other reviewers, I don’t think the boot leg is fitted to be wide at all– I have pretty normal sized calves, and this boot fits them snugly. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great, high quality, versatile boot!

True that there is a wide shaft…but I think it fits the style.

Beautifully constructed boot (I ordered the gray after falling in love at Bloomingdales)…it is true that the shaft is a bit wide, but I have very skinny legs, and I think that tucked into jeans, it looks very sophisticated. I think that the look is more casual, more urban…different than your average boot! I can see where some may disagree, but I am all smiles with this purchase.

I was concerned about the width of the shaft after reading other reviews, however, I am pleased with the way it looks. My legs are on the skinny side, so the shaft is a bit loose. The shaft is cut very straight and comes right to my knees and will probably start to slouch as the boots wear in, but I think that it’s part of the look. I love the way they look with skinny jeans tucked in or with tights! I also ordered a half-size larger since I often have a hard time with pull-on boots due to my high insteps, which I would recommend doing if you have the same problem. The sale price is excellent for the quality; the leather is really nice and the heel looks like it will last, unlike fake stacked wood heels. My only hesitation is that the heel is higher than I realized, nor is there any traction on the soles. Not comfortable for long periods of time.

This boot is great with casual dresses, leggings or worn over skinny jeans. The shaft is wider than most dress boots from knee to ankle. As it is a pull-on style, I don’t think it is intended to fit snug to the leg. The heel is the perfect height/width, the toe shape is very flattering and the grey leather is lovely. I suspect it will look even better as it breaks in a little.

I was so relieved when I opened the box and the color of these boots were exactly what I hoped for. They look and feel great! I just slipped them on and after very little adjustment, I was off and running. I’m very tall so it was nice that the boot shaft nearly came to my knee. These will be worn all season and I am very seriously considering getting another color.

These shoes look great and are very stylish but the shaft is just too wide so I had to send them back. I don’t have skinny calves so I was surprised they did not fit. I agree with the other comment–please create this same shoe with a narrow shaft.

This boot was everything I was looking for…tall, stacked heel, roundish toe, no embellishment…but when it arrived, the boot shaft make me look like I was standing in a bucket. I would like DV to do another run of the ‘Wendy’ boot, which has a narrower shaft.

Love these boots, they are so chic and are pretty comfortable as well. I have a wide calf and these fit very well, can even tuck in skinny jeans. These will definitely be my go-to for nights out, not sure if I’ll wear them to the office. The heel is high enough that they probably won’t be that comfy for extended wear. But they look fabulous!
